Fort Widley 09 February 2013

My wife and I were lucky enough to win 2 tickets for this event. What can i say? The team were extremely friendly and the group we were with were the same. We started with briefings and info about the equipment to be used. Then we went into the tunnels, OMG, never have i felt so vulnerable when in total blackness. which i tried in a tunnel on my own and promptly turned on my torch for a bit of security. The Quija board was used and although i have done this before as a teen never did we ever get anything like we did this night. We are definatley looking to attend more venues and have already requested standy-by tickets for an event. If you have never been on one of these then i would reccommend it hands down. You won't be dis-appointed.

Explosion Museum at Priddy's Hard 11 May 2012

Contacted Southern Ghost Society back in March about the possability of organising an charity event for Candle Lighters. They organised a event at the Explosion museum in portsmouth. The event was so easy to sort out, i took 19 soldiers on the event and SSG mixed there regulars into our groups. They were so accomadating for us, and really let the guys have a go with all the equipment. A few of the guys had experiences. Before we had even left the car park i had requests to organise another event which we are going today asoon as possible!

Oxford Castle Ghost Hunt 05 May 2012

I attended my first event at Oxford Castle and it won't be my last -the very next morning I went online and booked the Bursledon Brickworks event! The team were all so helpful, rational and reassuring and obviously know their stuff. They allay any fears without being patronising, and are more than happy to share their experiences. Overall it was a fascinating and exciting evening and I still can't stop talking about it! Thanks to everyone who made it so enjoyable!

Oxford Castle Ghost Hunt 05 May 2012

On the 5th May The Southern Ghost Society organised a private event for myself, my partner, our good friends and family at Oxford Castle. I can't being to tell how fantastic all the crew were. They made our night such great fun, with loads of amazing experiences we shall remember for a very long time. Everyone was enthusiastic and encouraging even at 2am! We didn't want to go home, we all wanted more. My children had never experienced anything like it, and are still talking non-stop about their night now! Dan, Dave and Lee who headed my group took lots of time to explain equipment, helped us use it, and shared our spooks and scares! Their hard work did not go unnoticed, we appreciated the time you spent with all of us. Thank you so much for making our night so rewarding, and we all hope we've made some new friends, both living and from beyond the grave. Emma xx

Fort Widley, Portsmouth 09 December 2011

We Really Really enjoyed the event. The guys from Southern Ghost Society could not have been any more friendly and nice. It was our first ghost hunt and we were really looked after very well. The guys there are truthful about everything and didnt stage anything. They also have some great equipment and knowledge behind them. Fort Widley is a very creepy place with amazing history to it. We will 100% be planning another hunt with SGS as now we are hungry for more. Thanks guys see you soon from Sam, Kat, Sue, Barbara and linda

The Hell-Fire Caves 10 September 2011

This was my first hunt with the team...and wow what a night, while a group of us were using the board to communicate with the spirits, something pinched my bum, haha. then everyone heard a growl come from nowhere which freaked us all out, we even managed to catch it the video camera. I was dissapointed that we had to leave so early (2am) I could easily have stayed all night long. Cant wait to do it again

Bursledon Brickworks 27 August 2011

I had a great night with a great small team with many things happening and messages coming through. A couple of bangs and a dragging sound, also got a great blue orb upstairs, Photo to follow.
