Our Fort Widley Investigation

Fort Widley – 23rd May 2015

Fort Widley has been a location we used to visit at least once every quarter so, the team decided that it was time to give it a bit of a break so our visit in May was only the second time in 2015.

For  those of you that have not been to Widley, the venue consists of 3 main tunnels and a small tunnel all under the hillside of Ports down Hill in Portsmouth.

18 people joined the team on this visit which was a good number to split into 3 groups and conduct a controlled investigation. We were also join by Simon Smith for the first session and it was really good to have him back working with us.

The West Tunnel brought the first group instant activity through the k2 meters which seemed to be responding to the questions they were asking. The second group to investigate the area had a very interesting séance at the bottom of the stair well as the person they claimed to be speaking to, we had spoken to over 3 years ago with a  totally different team. Upon marrying up the notes from the  May 2015 event and the notes taken on the August 2013 event the information taken was almost identical.

Throughout the night all groups recorded footsteps and loud unexplainable bangs and various other communication of which we have not been able to validate so far. Each team had voice reorders rolling and the sessions were recorded via our cameras. Over the next few weeks we will be reviewing the footage and if we capture anything of interest we will post it on the website.

Big thank you to all that came and the SGS team
