Tough Mudder August 2015
This August I will be entering the gruelling ‘Tough Mudder’ on behalf of our friend Simon Smith to raise money for the charity Lucy’s Days Out.
As most of you know by now our friend and team leader Simon Smith has not been too well of late however we are pleased to say that he is very much on the mend and starting to join us again on selected events.
During this difficult time Simon has had lots of support from friends and family and lots of other people, one of them being Lucy’s Day Out. The charity ‘Lucy’s Days Out’ support families going through difficult periods by giving them short breaks and days out and allowing them to spend some vital family time together.
So…………..As a thank you to them on behalf of Simon and his family I have decided to try and raise money for this amazing local charity. For those of you that have not heard of Tough Mudder I will give you a bit of an insight to the pain and torture I will be subject to on this 20k assault course.
The Tough Mudder course contains over 20 different obstacles to tackle of which include mud, water, electroshock treatment and even tear gas. This will be without a doubt the toughest thing I have ever had to do and it’s all in the name of raising as much money as I can for Lucy’s Days Out.
If you would like to support me on this then you can donate via my just giving page, Even if it is only £1, every little will help reach my target
