Drakelow Tunnels Ghost Hunt

Kingsford Country Park, Kidderminster, Worcestershire.

Inside drakelow tunnels

Spread over 285,000 square feet, Drakelow Tunnels was originally constructed in WWII under the Ministry of Aircraft Production’s Shadow Factory Scheme.

The tunnels found a new lease of life after WWII as the Government took control of the site to use in case of a nuclear attack. he government only used half of the original site of which they converted for use during the Cold War period.

Throughout its past, it would have been used to accommodate important local and national government personnel as well as the armed forces and a small amount of medical staff.

The 80's saw a refurbishment to the nuclear side although sadly in 1990 the site was no longer useful and was sold off.

Despite the lack of action, the tunnels are reported to be very active with many people refusing to spend long periods of time in certain areas.

Reported Paranormal Activity

6 men were rumored to have lost their life's during construction as a result of a collapse roof and 2 further were killed riding the conveyors.

Reports of screams have been documented when workers and visitors have been in the tunnels. The feeling of being watched and even contact from unseen hands.

With no electricity, no natural light and over 3.5 Miles of tunnels, this event is not for the faint hearted.
