About this location

Southern ghost society are excited to announce our first visit to Tudor World or as its better known as ‘The Haunted Falstaff Museum’ and we welcome you to join us on our adventure.

Since around 1100, records show that a building has been on the site of the museum and it has been said that its first ever resident was an Archer called William Shreve’s who was an Archer for Henry VIII who’s name you can still see today as the building is known as 'The Shreve's House'.

What makes this investigation unique is that very fact that you will be investigating a site hat has over 500 years of history, was in the centre of the plague, housed troops from the civil war and even has links to witchcraft. The property you see today at 40 Sheep Street is said to have been there since 1196 built of a wattle-and-daub and still has the amazing 16th-century barn at the rear.

This event is certainly not for the fainthearted as there is countless reports of extreme paranormal activity ranging from strange ghostly noises to full body apparitions. With such a dark and checked past, there is no surprise that even the most experienced ghost hunters have refused to stay alone in the rooms and have even fled the building refusing to return.

With people reporting hearing the sound of ominous ghostly voices, strange sounds and even being physically push out of a room, we are sure to be in for one hell of an evening.
